Hello.   I'm Katie.  Wedding and Portrait photographer based out of Northfield MN.

After almost two decades of being behind the lens I have learned that images that evoke emotion are the reason I love being a photographer.    I love making my clients feel at ease as if they are just hanging out with an old friend.    I know many people say they love their job but I truly feel like I was called to being a photographer from a young age.  I would collect folders of images that inspired me even before I was old enough to own a camera.    I was gifted my first camera at 16 and from there I was hooked.  I attended MSU Mankato for studio arts,  I shot my first wedding at 20 years old.   18 years later I still have moments that I tear up while editing photos or get butterflies when I know I have nailed the shot I was trying to achieve.  Making people feel like they are the most beautiful they have felt in their life is my goal.   

I have four children.   They are pretty amazing humans.    I love to travel, paint and play piano.   Anything artistic or creative gets me excited.  

I have a lot more animals than children.   If you are cool with someone that gets a little too excited to talk about horses and goats.....   We will get along great.
